Theatre Museum

The Theatre Museum by Covent Garden had closed its doors in January due to lack of funds. Jon discovered that they still gave guided tours twice a day.


When Charles II reopened the theatres following the fall of the Puritains, he gave patents to actors William Davenant and Thomas Killgrew to appear on stage. Above is the original patent given to Killgrew.
