Sandra Bullock won the Razzie for her performance in All About Steve on March 6, 2009, and was awarded the Oscar the following night for The Blind Side.

Bullock showed herself to be a good sport by appearing at the Razzie ceremony to accept the award, and brought a wagon-full of DVDs of All About Steve to distribute to the audience. She claimed that the Razzie voters couldn't have actually watched the film, and after they did they would invite her back to return the plastic, spray-painted trophy (the Razzie is still in her possession).

Three actors have been nominated for both the Razzie and the Oscar for the same performance. James Coco in Only When I Laugh (1981), Amy Irving in Yentl (1983) and Glenn Close for Hillbilly Eligy (2020). Coco lost the Oscar to John Gielgud in Arthur and the Razzie to Steve Forrest in Mommie Dearest. Irving lost the Oscar to Linda Hunt in The Year of Living Dangerously and the Razzie to Sybil Danning in Chained Heat and Hercules.
