The Fab Four won the Best Score Oscar for Let It Be in 1970.
The only Beatle to be nominated by himself was Paul McCartney,
who was nominated for Best Song for Live and Let Die and Vanilla Sky.
McCartney was also offered the role of Romeo in Franco Zeffirelli's Oscar nominated
Romeo and Juliet, which was nominated for Best Picture in 1968. McCartney
turned the part down.
