Comédie-Française - Antigone
Jonny returned to Paris to see this staging of Jean Anouilh's version of the tragedy with low expectations. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip: a stunning, fast-paced version of the story magnificently acted by a stellar cast, especially Françoise Gillard as Antigone and Bruno Raffaeli as Créon. It was one of the most rewarding theatrical experiences that Jonny had ever had. |
