Jon had to ask
a lot of people for the directions to the original sight of Shakespeare's
Globe Theatre (first excavated by developers in 1989). All of them
gave him the same reaction: "it's around here, but you're going
to be disappointed." They were wrong. For a true admirer of
the Bard's work, it is an emotional experience to know that you're
standing in the spot where the plays debuted.
